What is a SNAP Data Package?
A SNAP Data Package bundles Data Products with Analytical Models — deployed as Data Packages in BDC, or as Analytical Queries in S/4HANA.
Data Products

Analytical Models

In BDC → Data Packages
Activated from the BDC Marketplace and deployed natively into SAP Datasphere, where Data Products and their Analytical Models live as one governed bundle. From there, SAP Analytics Cloud consumes them for dashboards, planning, and stories — while Joule consumes them for natural-language and agentic AI workflows, every output traceable back to a governed Data Package.
In BW & S/4HANA → Analytical Queries
Outside BDC, the same SNAP Data Package logic deploys as Analytical Queries running directly on BW or S/4HANA. Surfaced natively in SAP Analytics Cloud and Analysis for Office, or extended via standard SAP OData extraction into Power BI, Tableau, and other partner BI platforms.
